External retaining ring pliers are required to remove and install the retaining ring(s) found on 2XR Spindles.
Installation/Removal is only required on tandem cranksets with 2 spiders on 1 spindle.
These are not proprietary plier and you might have something that works already. These have a Pin Diameter of .07″ and are compatible with 30mm external retaining ring diameter.
